How much longer can we endure the remote learning model?

Our education systems and curriculum frameworks define clear learning outcomes across all grades and age groups. However, the questions in the present COVID crises are:

  • Can we make these learning outcomes happen based purely on the online learning model?
  • How about evidence-based assessments? Tests and quizzes are a part of assessments, but there is more to assessment of learners than these.
  • How much longer can we endure the remote learning model?

The quality and standard of education is likely to get diluted. That will impact human development and the ability to innovate and accomplish advancements in research and social skills.

Our ability to address larger challenges, like climate change, requires creating awareness and education. Let us hope that we will transition out of the lockdowns to the new normal at the earliest.
