Ancient India did understand Science, Astronomy, and many other aspects of Education well. Our Vedas, Upanishads, and other scriptures are treasured even today. I am sure we can learn a lot from them.\
Sanskrit as a language is known to be among the best evolved, best structured language. We don’t use it that much today, do we?
I am not saying we should completely rewind to the Ancient system of Education in India. However, a blend of best practices from the two systems should be articulated. It will create a value add and differentiation to our education system. Higher Education, including engineering, medical education are all to benefit from our ancient traditions.
