When The New Normal Happens – What Then?

Life, and particularly Education will never be the same again. We continue to discover newer educational paradigm that are inclusive of Edtech. Since more educational institutes from schools to Universities have quickly adopted to Edtech. The scope of using technology in education is increasing.

It is no more restricted to broadcast of live classrooms. It is about new technology tools for activity based learning, project based learning, and hence pedagogical shifts. Using Edtech blended with traditional Education (brick & mortar) model, we can accomplish the concept of flipped classrooms. The teachers can record videos of their lectures and recommended learning resources, making it available to students, to access it from home; watch and learn lessons, access interactive learning objects, available online. They can watch the videos more often which encourages independent learning.

When they return to school, they can be engaged with active, hand-on learning, team projects, applying the knowledge they have gained. Applying knowledge to Conduct experiments, filed trips etc. This model also provides more time for interacting with teachers, thus providing more personalised learning for students.
