“Cut the Clutter” of use of Gadgets

We are an EduTech company. At the start of the COVID lockdown, during the month of March, we started working from home across all the locations we were present. Since then it has been 6 months, and it seems to stay for a few more months, at least.

In the current world of gadgets, and high speed internet connectivity, it is still a clutter of devices, their chargers, wires, adapters, etc.

I took a picture of my home office desk, and that’s the picture I posted above.

I use the smartphone to make and receive calls, to check messages, for WhatsApp, etc. I use my iPad for my mails, as the keyboard feels easier and is easy to use during travel. The grand laptop is for heavyweight computing, writing documents, etc.

I have posted a picture of what my desk looks like, most of the time. I need all the three open, and thank God, they are synchronised.

Like the Indian National Education Policy 2020, is bringing down the load of the school bags and even doing ‘bagless days’, I hope a regulatory authority looks at all the luggage we have to typically lug, when we travel.

Hope 5G will make it all miniaturized?
