EdTech – “Nice to Have” to “Must Have”

All the benefits of using technology in education is being discussed in all social media platforms.

EdTech was seen as “nice to have”, but now in the current nCOVID lockdown it has become a “Must have”.

On return to normalcy, I am sure the education system will find the right balance. Technology should enable and empower all key stakeholders but not attempt to substitute key elements of our education systems.

  • Teachers can never be substituted by anything technology. They inspire Learners.
  • Books are not gone yet. Digital interactive content makes teaching-learning process more effective.
  • Being active on social media will only enhance the personal connects.
  • Meeting fellow Learners and peer groups in person cannot be replaced by technology tools.
