My experience of “working from home”, since February 2020.

Initially, I was anxious about how it will impact work, productivity, teamwork, customer engagement, and many other related issues.

I should admit it was a mix of excitement and anxiety, when we switched quite smoothly to “Work from Home” mode, I breathed a sigh of relief. It was mainly because we are a Digital and online business.

The first couple of months were fine. It was a new experience. When we witnessed a downward trend in infections, we were hoping to get back to Office, to meeting our colleagues, socializing.

We were cautious and decided to continue our “work from home” policy.

In hindsight, it was a good decision, as the second wave hit.

However, the number and rate of infection are reduced, and we have a dilemma: Should we continue to “work from home”? or return to the office. With uncertainty about a possible third wave of the pandemic, we decided to wait until Mid-August, before providing an option to return to the office. Will be a hybrid model. Waiting and watching!
